Experience Transylvania through a dynamic blend of hiking, biking, and wilderness encounters, set against the landscapes of Piatra Craiului National Park, the Bucegi Mountains, and the surrounding Carpathian region.
This carefully designed itinerary combines active days with varied terrain and authentic local experiences, offering a balanced and engaging journey through one of Romania’s most scenic areas.
Day 1 — Arrival & Mountain Retreat in Măgura
Arrival in Bucharest, followed by transfer to Măgura, a traditional village set at the edge of Piatra Craiului National Park.
Settle into your guesthouse and enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery.
Overnight in Măgura.
Day 2 — Scenic Walk to Curmătura Chalet
A full-day walk leads through meadows and forest trails toward Curmătura Chalet, a well-known mountain hut at the base of the ridge.
After a break, return to Măgura via a different route.
Day 3 — Ridge & Summit Day in Piatra Craiului National Park
A more demanding day takes you into higher sections of the park, with the option to reach the main ridge and its highest point (2,238 m), depending on conditions and group experience.
Some sections may include narrow paths and short aided passages.
Day 4 — Bran Castle & Bucegi Landscapes
Visit Bran Castle, followed by a scenic hike in the Bucegi Mountains, with views toward Piatra Craiului.
Transfer to Brașov for the next part of your journey.
Day 5 — Seven Ladders Canyon & Adventure Park
A short transfer leads to the Seven Ladders Canyon, where you follow a series of ladders and walkways through a narrow gorge with waterfalls.
In the afternoon, continue to an adventure park near Brașov that offers optional activities in a forest setting.
Day 6 — Cycling & Wildlife Experience
The day begins with a cycling route through rural landscapes surrounding Brașov.
In the evening, take part in a guided wildlife experience in the Carpathian forests.
Day 7 — Discover Sighișoara
Day trip to Sighișoara, one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Explore its historic center, including towers, narrow streets, and fortified walls.
Day 8 — Departure
Transfer to the airport in Bucharest.
