CULTURAL TOURS utilize only established lodging and are quite comfortable. These are our most accessible trips and by consequence, our most popular. Cultural itineraries visit many of the same delightful locations as the Adventures, but with a greater emphasis on amenities, and are suitable for all ages. They don't demand a great degree of physical conditioning, though walking is included, with some hiking optional.
ADVENTURE TOURS include some camping interspersed with nights in comfortable accommodations. They are for those desiring to get further afield and involve varying degrees of wilderness travel in the form of hiking and/or biking, trekking, canoeing, rafting. Adventures are designed for beginners, intermediates and advanced hikers and require a moderate to hard degree of fitness.

Andreea - Licensed tour guide and mountain guide since 2018.
I like the nature and everything related to outdoors, and the mountains are beyond doubt the most complex and beautiful expresion of nature. That is why my tours vary from easy and gentle treks through meadows and authentic villages, to climbing and mountaineering in the most rough winter weather. I believe that offering the confidence and the proper route for every tourist is the key to bringing nature closer to everyone. With experience in the Romanian Carpathians, Tatra mountains, High Atlas, Ararat, the Alps, Rila and many more, I can find something interesting for anyone.

I can, despite the cliché, say that I have been hiking since childhood.
I gradually started with more and more complex hikes, then going through all the branches (mountaineering, climbing, alpine skiing and touring skiing, mountain biking, via ferrata, mountain summer camps for children). Over time I have traveled many times most of the marked tourist routes and many summer and winter alpine routes in the Romanian Carpathians.
Then followed the trips in the mountains in other countries and so I climbed peaks or did technical and classical routes in Slovakia (Tatra Mountains), Greece (Mount Olympus), Bulgaria (Rila and Pirin Mountains), Turkey (Taurus Mountains), Morocco ( Atlas Mountains), but primarily in the French Alps (Mont Blanc, Beldone, Chartreuse, Vanoise, Brevent), Italy (Matterhorn, Monte Rosa, Gran Paradiso, Dolomites), Switzerland (Matterhorn), Austria (Grossglockner) and Germany (Zugspitze).
Expeditions have been an integral part of my life. Thus, I had the chance to participate in several expeditions in the Cordillera Andes (Peru, Ecuador, Argentina), in Kilimanjaro (Tanzania) and in the Caucasus (Russia, Georgia).
For several years I have turned my initial passion into a job. Becoming an authorized mountain guide (member of the Association of Mountain Guides from Romania - AGMR) I am on the mountain around 4-5 days a week and divide my time between tours with groups of hikers, alpine routes, introductory courses in mountaineering or Carpathian climbing, climbing and ski touring or summer camps for children.
One of my goals is to instill passion and respect for nature by working in one of the most complex fields: the mountain one.

Andrei: I discovered mountains with my parents in early childhood, a memory that I will always look back to. As a result, I built my life around nature and, its finest creation, mountains. As a professional mountain guide, my greatest reward is the joy of the people that join me in various tours in the mountains, being most active with scrambling, climbing and mountaineering, but also hiking all around the world. I am also fond of bicycle touring, trying to spend as much time in the saddle as possible and discovering the world. I am a state Mountain Guide with license no. 5921/2017 and also a qualified International Mountain Leader (UIMLA), member of Societatea Ghizilor și Liderilor Montani (SGLM).
