Practical information about the sites:

Rasnov Fortress is closed for the moment! However, we can still visit the outside walls and exterior courtyard as follows: Starting Wednesday, August 13, 2025, the Garden of the Medieval Fortress of Rasnov and the Báthory Tower, located at the garden entrance, can only be visited with an admission ticket.

Ticket details:

▪ The fee is 10 lei/person for visitors over 12 years old;
▪ Children under 12 years old enjoy free entry.
▪ Tickets can be purchased exclusively on-site, by card only (POS available).

Guided tours inside Bran Castle will be conducted exclusively by the Castle’s official guides or independently, without being accompanied by our tour guide, due to Bran Castle’s new policy - more details on their website. MONDAY BRAN CASTLE IS OPENED AT NOON.

The company managing ticketing at Peleș Castle has implemented a rule requiring guides to pay the entrance fee as well.

Because of this new policy, our guides will no longer enter the castle with guests. They will share all historical information and insights both before and after your visit.

We want to inform you that Peleș Castle has recently introduced a new ticketing system. In the future, please purchase tickets online in advance for a specific date and entry time.

• Each time slot is limited to 500 visitors only.
• Tickets must be booked for specific entrance windows:
  • Wednesday: 10:00 – 12:45
  • Thursday to Sunday: 09:15 – 11:00

Will I still get value from the tour if Rasnov Fortress is closed and I can only see the exterior?

Our guide will share compelling stories about the fortress's strategic importance, its role in local defense, and the legends surrounding it. Could you explain why entrance fees are not included in the tour price? Are there any other hidden costs?

To keep the tour flexible and transparent, we list entrance fees separately from the main price. This way, you only pay for the places you choose to visit, especially if you already have discounts or decide not to enter a particular attraction. How crowded does Bran Castle get, especially in high season? Will it ruin my experience?

If you are looking for a quieter experience, we gently recommend visiting during the off-peak seasons.

Is there enough time to truly enjoy and explore Peles Castle, Bran Castle, and Rasnov Fortress?

Yes, it certainly is! We've designed the tour to give you a fulfilling experience in one day. Our guides are dedicated to maximizing your time, focusing on the most interesting facts and stories, ensuring you walk away with a deep appreciation for both sites. Where exactly is the meeting point? Can I be picked up from my hotel or dropped off at a different location?

The standard meeting point is outside Biblioteca Județeană “George Barițiu” on Bulevardul Eroilor 33–35.
To make things easier for you, we can also provide free pickup from several locations around Brașov, including areas outside the old town. If you prefer to be dropped off somewhere else after the tour, we’ll do our best to arrange it for a small additional charge.

Will Bran Castle meet my expectations as Dracula's Castle? Will there be any Dracula-related artifacts or stories?
