Rasnov Fortress is temporarily closed for interior visits. If this occurs, you'll still enjoy exploring the outer walls, courtyard, and Báthory Tower, while experiencing the site's history and views. Children under 12 can enter for free, and tickets are available on-site for 10 lei per person aged 12 and over.

Ticket details:

The fee is 10 lei per person for guests aged 12 and over. Children under 12 benefit from free entry. Tickets are available exclusively at the location and can be paid for only by card, as POS payment is available.

Please note that guided visits inside Bran Castle are now conducted exclusively by the castle’s official guides or independently, without our tour guide accompanying you inside. This is due to Bran Castle’s updated visitor policy, and more details are available on the castle’s official website. Also, please keep in mind that on Mondays, Bran Castle opens at noon.

The main meeting point is in front of Biblioteca Județeană “George Barițiu”, located at Bulevardul Eroilor 33–35. 
For your convenience, we also offer complimentary pick-up from different locations in Brașov, including areas outside the old town. If you would like to be dropped off at a specific location after the tour, we can usually arrange this for a small extra fee.

Bran Castle is rich in history, atmosphere, and legend, and we believe it will meet your expectations. Although the Castle does not display many explicit Dracula-related artifacts, your guide will explain the fascinating links between Bran Castle, Bram Stoker’s famous novel, and Vlad the Impaler, the historical figure often associated with the Dracula myth. With its Gothic architecture, dramatic setting, and mysterious ambiance, the Castle offers the perfect backdrop for imagining the legend.

What happens if the weather is bad? Is this tour still worth doing in winter or during cold months?
