The route begins in the surroundings of Brașov and gradually unfolds across Transylvania.

You move from mountain landscapes into open plateaus, through villages and historic towns shaped by Saxon heritage and Central European influence.

Along the way, you explore some of the region’s most representative landmarks, including:

The Journey

Day 1 — Arrival in Transylvania

Bucharest – Sibiu

Your journey begins with a scenic transfer from Bucharest to Sibiu, one of Transylvania’s most important cultural cities.

Upon arrival, you settle into your accommodation and begin a relaxed introduction to the city. Sibiu’s historic center reflects its Saxon heritage and long-standing role as a cultural hub.

Overnight in Sibiu.

Day 2 — Corvin Castle and Medieval Heritage

Sibiu – Hunedoara – Sibiu

The day is dedicated to exploring Corvin Castle, one of the most impressive Gothic-Renaissance castles in Eastern Europe.

Its scale, architecture, and history offer insight into the power and ambition of medieval nobility.

In the evening, return to Sibiu for a more relaxed exploration of the city’s atmosphere.

Day 3 — Saxon Heritage and Medieval Citadels

Sibiu – Biertan – Sighișoara

The journey continues through the Transylvanian countryside to Biertan Fortified Church, a UNESCO-listed site that once served as the religious center of the Saxon community.

Later, arrive in Sighișoara Citadel, one of the best-preserved inhabited medieval towns in Europe.

Sighișoara – Viscri – Rupea – Brașov

Brașov – Sinaia – Bran – Râșnov – Brașov

Visit Peleș Castle, a refined royal residence set in the Carpathian Mountains, followed by Bran Castle, known for its strategic position and layered history.

The experience continues at Râșnov Fortress, a defensive stronghold built to protect local communities.

Return to Brașov in the evening.

Day 6 — Mountain Villages and Rural Life

Brașov – Piatra Craiului Region – Brașov
