Peles is Europe's first electrified castle, featuring all modern utilities, including central heating, hot and cold water, a central vacuum cleaner, an electrical elevator, and much more, since the beginning of the 20th century.
Visiting Peles Castle is almost like being inside an artwork itself; every step we take inside, we get mesmerized by every small detail, the different carvings, paintings, and furniture pieces competing with well-known castles and palaces around the world.

Cantacuzino Castle was the summer home of a well-known politician of the 19th century, Grigore Cantacuzino. He was once one of Romania's wealthiest men and decided to build this authentic monument, featuring a breathtaking panorama of the Bucegi Mountains.
However, the size and amount of detail cannot compete with the Royal Palaces, which makes it one of the most beautiful buildings in the area. The castle, constructed in neo-romanian architectural style, is surrounded by alleys and pathways that lead to fountains, waterfalls, and small caves.
The decorative repertoire of the construction has a romantic character. The marble interiors, the columns, the stained glass windows, and much more reveal to us an architectural masterpiece. All these elements caught the eye of movie and TV producers as well, and the castle was chosen to be the location of a recent TV show called Wednesday.

Visit the Sinaia Monastery, located in Sinaia, in Prahova County, Romania, which was founded by Prince Mihail Cantacuzino in 1695 and named after the great Saint Catherine's Monastery on Mount Sinai in Egypt. As of 2005, it is inhabited by 13 Christian Orthodox monks led by hegumen Macarie Boguș. It is part of the Bucharest archdiocese.
The Old Church was built in 1695. In 2006, it was closed to begin a restoration project to return it to its former beauty. The original interior painting was completed by Pârvu Mutu and was restored for the first time in 1795. The Old Church has reopened as of 2016.

Please be aware that we provide pick-up and drop-off services exclusively within the city of Brașov and for guests staying outside the old town. The pick-up time will vary based on the location requested. Additionally, we are happy to drop off guests at a different location than the pick-up point for an additional fee.
